Mental Health and Safety Core

When it comes to injury or illness, prevention is always preferable to cure. Healing takes time and full recovery is not always guaranteed.

It is the same with mental illness.

Our Core Mental Health and Safety training empowers everyone to find the best practice in order to maintain wellbeing and avoid poor mental health.

When a living organism gets their needs met then they cannot be unwell. Humans are born with extraordinary needs and extraordinary resources to meet those needs. Through the needs and resources system our delegates learn about what their emotional needs are and how they can get them met.

By connecting the needs and resources system to the continuum model, Mental Health and Safety Training empowers us to better understand mental health and to prevent mental illness.

In this half day session, we provide a common sense framework of understanding through which we can share language, tackle the challenges to mental wellbeing and eradicate stigma around mental ill health.

Managing Mental Health and Safety

For managers and leadership, managing a group of the most complex known things in the universe can be a big ask. Building on the foundations of Mental Health and Safety Core, this course teaches breakthrough techniques that help us to work together in order to achieve more.

Nothing can be accomplished as a team without establishing rapport with the people we are working with. By learning how to manage the emotional content of our communications and through understanding why someone’s emotional arousal might be impacting their work, we can take action to improve our working lives and help the group to achieve more.

In this half day training delegates will practice key skills that draw on our understanding of human needs and innate resources. Delegates will explore how cutting-edge techniques can empower others and liberate capacity for all to improve performance.
